I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day weekend! I sure did. It made it even better knowing that I get to see my mom this week!!
The boys always make me feel so special on Mother's Day, and this year was no different. I am so blessed (spoiled). ;)

We kicked off our weekend with a stroll on the bike path that runs behind our house. It got hot, QUICK. But I still enjoyed the one-on-one time with that not-so-little fella. I know the day is soon approaching where he will be mortified to be spotted in public with me, so I am SERIOUSLY soaking all of these little moments in while I still can. We chatted the whole time, about Star Wars, summer fun wish list, nature we saw, and the future. Landon never ceases to amaze me with his attention to detail in his observations and thoughts. Just when I think I am caught up, he has already figured out or mastered another subject.
After our walk, we packed up a lunch and had a picnic at the park. Following our picnic, and a little park play time, we hit up the zoo.
After walking around for awhile, we hopped on the zoo train and relaxed in the shade.
And can we just take a second to reflect on when he turned 15?! Seriously! When did he grow up?

To beat the heat after to zoo, we made a pit stop for ice cream on the way home. :)
Sunday was a busy day!
We started the day at church, where the two newest (and cutest) members of our family were being dedicated. Each mom was given roses, and there was an area to snap a quick Mother's Day pic. Our church really goes the extra mile. Just one reason why we love it there. :)

We rushed home from church, with just enough time for Landon to change and down a pb&j in the car to get to his soccer games. They had two games-and he has mostly been playing right defender.
Look at that form. ;)
After soccer, we went home and relaxed for a bit before Cory made a scrumptious Mother's Day supper. The boys also got me this tiara and insisted I wear it the rest of the night. It even lit up. haha
We had a great weekend, and beautiful weather. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
