Wow...it's been a whirlwind few months! How is it MAY?! I'm not complaining though..loving the warm weather and ample amounts of sunshine. Here is a quick catch up of our last few weeks in Bismarck.
When my mom told me that we were moving to North Dakota in 6th grade, I thought my life was ending. Honestly, I think I remember asking her and Dave if people actually lived there. HA! I was the typical over-dramatic preteen and INSISTED that the second I could, I was moving back to Missouri. And here we are 16 years later (16!!!)....and it's actually happening. I do not know how to put into words how grateful I am for my years as a North Dakotan. My life would not be what it is today without them. I wouldn't have met Cory, I wouldn't have Landon, I wouldn't have had the opportunities to travel to the places that I have, I wouldn't have met some of the best friends in the whole world....and on and on. Good ole ND will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart.
But with all of that said, it is time for something new! And I am SO EXCITED to be close to my family again, grow in my career, and have Landon and Cory experience life as Missourians! So many things have fallen into place and aligned perfectly for this to be happening right now. I have never felt more secure in a decision, and I know this is what God has planned for us right now. It has just felt so clear...almost like He is jumping in front of me being like, "Hello!! This is my path for you!! Right here!!"

Before we left Bismarck, Stacy and Chad threw us an awesome shrimp boil going away party. It was so nice to see everyone near and dear to us in one place before we took off.
A few other snapshots of our last days in Bis...
One of Landon's hardest goodbyes was to our after school nanny, Hannah. They grew so close and we miss her so!
My VR crew. Such a great group of people to learn from and get to know.
This person. My person. Book your flight to visit me already.
Landon's class threw him a going away party on his last day and his teacher brought in a special guest for him....a Delta pilot! (I actually went to middle school and high school with his sister, so I won cool mom points for knowing him) ;)
Polaroid with all of his friends.
His class gave him a Delta model plane that they all had signed. It was such a thoughtful gift that I know he will cherish forever. I cannot put into words how thankful I am to Landon's teacher, and everyone at his school. The amount of thought she put into personalizing this day for him was incredible.
Our last night in Bismarck...two peas in a pod.
And just like that.....now we are officially Missourians.
