What a busy Summer/Fall!!! Now that the wedding is over and I have free time again, I thought I would share some fun times leading up until the big day!
You know you have the best Maid of Honor ever when you call and say,
"I am coming home in 2 weeks for a dress fitting", and the very next day she has invitations sent out to throw you a bridal shower! It was a quick weekend home, but as always, we made the best of it.
I don't know how she did it, preparing to go back to work, and taking care of 2 precious babies, but Nicole planned the prettiest Kate Spade themed taco night with our family.
While she prepared for the party, I busied myself snuggling this handsome man.

All of the cutest, prettiest details, and the CAKE. Seriously!
Loved having all these ladies in one place together.
She even had the "infamous" wedding margaritas from her wedding. They are dangerously delicious and go down a little too easy. Nicole's wedding was fun but her gift opening the next morning wasn't. ;)
Nicole's hubby Ryan was very proud of himself for assisting Nicole in the making of the "P", so it required a special picture.
My Aunt Julie's best friend Carol makes the most BEAUTIFUL quilts. Growing up, I always told Julie that I wanted one of Carol's quilts as my wedding gift. Julie even went and picked out all of the fabrics for it, so it matches our bedroom decor perfectly. I love, love, love this quilt and could not imagine one more beautiful if I tried. Sentimental hand-me-downs are big in our southern family, and now I have a piece of my own to pass down someday. :)
These pictures do it no justice...it is just gorgeous!
The rest of the quick weekend was spent at my dress fitting, indulging on some good southern cookin', and spending quality time with some special boys.
When you're there so much, you're considered a local, and the bartender knows your "usual"...tall Shirley Temple with a side of extra cherries. :)
As always, my time home came and went too quickly, but is SO cherished.
